OpenAIRE FP7 Post-Grant Open Access Pilot: extension

Good news!

The FP7 Post-Grant Open Access Pilot, run by OpenAIRE, will be extended for another 10 months, until end of February 2018.

The rules and eligibility criteria will not change and you can still make your submissions via

After careful consideration, the European Commission has asked OpenAIRE to extend the FP7 Post-Grant Open Access Pilot with another 10 months. This extension follows immediately after the end of the first phase of this pilot, which ended on April 30th, 2017.

On a practical level, this means that the submission system will simply continue as it was before – submissions are still being accepted and reviewed.

The members of the WP5 workpackage will continue to engage with stakeholders (such as NOADs, institutions and libraries, and publishers)  to ensure the most efficient approach for these next 10 months.
